Island Spirit Awarded to Paige Moore of Duck's Diner

Posted

The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber recently presented the Island Spirit Award for the month of October to Paige Moore of Duck's Diner in Orange Beach.

Paige's nominations had this to say about her, "I recently visited Duck’s Diner and a smiling young lady greeted me and brought me to my seat. Her waitress style was a wonderful reflection of our community. This young girl looked every one of her customers in the eye with a great smile. Afterward, I asked her why she was so friendly, and she told me that this is a resort community and that our island depends on our guests being treated in such a way that will make them want to come back. She has a grateful heart which spills over in how she treats her local customers and our island guests"

The Island Spirit Award is presented monthly by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber. It has been a tradition since the mid1980's. The award was designed to give recognition to individuals who make special contributions to the quality of life we enjoy in the Coastal Alabama region. Leslie Haley chairs the Island Spirit Committee. Anyone can nominate a person they feel provides excellent customer service to our residents and visitors alike.
