Missing Senior Alert

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office provides an update on missing 84 year old Lizzie Myers Williams. Ms. Williams has be located in a wooded area not far from her residence in Daphne. Ms. Williams has sustained a sprained ankle and is dehydrated but otherwise is unharmed. She was transported to Thomas Hospital in Fairhope as a precautionary measure. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank all law enforcement agencies, search and rescue teams, K-9 search teams, and ALEA Helicopter pilots that assisted in the search.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in locating missing 84-year-old Lizzie Myers Williams of Daphne. Ms. William’s suffers from dementia and diabetes and walks with a noticeable limp. She left her residence off County Road 13 sometime this morning between midnight and 7 am. Baldwin County Sheriff Deputies, several search and rescue teams along with Daphne Police, ALEA helicopters and K-9 search teams have been conducting the search for Ms. Williams since 7am this morning, to no avail. The Sheriff’s office is asking for anyone in the County Road 13 area around Wells Road and County Road 64 that may have security cameras to please check those cameras to determine if Ms. Williams image may have been captured between the hours of midnight and 7 am, August 17, 2017. If so please notify the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office at 251-937-0202.
