ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday, May 4 for the reopening of Bob’s Discount in Robertsdale.

Bob Litteken opened Bob’s Discount in Robertsdale in 2001 and the store was a fixture in the community for more than a decade before closing in 2015.

After remaining vacant for more than two years, the store was reopened in March under new ownership, Casey and Lesley Myers.

“We’re just happy to be able to re-open Bob’s,” Casey Myers said. “Everybody around here knows Bob and we’re happy to be able to continue that tradition.”

The store offers a variety of items from tools and outdoor items to toys and household goods.

Store hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. For more information call 251-947-9003.
