Suspect wanted on 38 felony counts turns himself in to Orange Beach Police

The Orange Beach Police Department released a press release Jan. 9 regarding the identification of an individual suspected of a series of burglaries to condominiums on Perdido Beach Boulevard.

Within 24 hours after the police released the suspect’s information and photo to the media and Facebook, Wilson turned himself in to the Orange Beach Police Department.

Investigators received an anonymous tip through social media prompting further investigations. The suspect’s identity was confirmed to be Faith Demont Wilson.

Wilson is responsible for committing the serial crimes of burglary and theft of property. Approximately $16,000 in cash, guns and personal belongs were taken from 16 condo units from March, 2019 through December, 2019. The units were unlocked, and several were occupied when the crimes took place.

Wilson has been charged with 38 felonies for theft of property and burglary.
