Wedgeworth, of Gulf Shores, wins fourth National Masters Championship

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Berlyn Wedgeworth of Gulf Shores, won the National Masters Championship in weightlifting on April 5, in Buffalo, New York. He won first place in his weight class and also best overall lifter in his age class.

Wedgeworth has qualified to participate in the Pan-American Championships that will be held in Canada in June and hopes to qualify for the World Championship which will be held in August in Barcelona, Spain.

Wedgeworth won the National Masters Championship in 2015, 2016, and 2017 also. He trains at A.B.B. CrossFit in Gulf Shores.
