Zeblin O. Harbin of Shelby County, AL passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the age of 86. He was born in Birmingham on February 14, 1934. He was a 20 year retired veteran of the US Air Force and a 20 year retired employee of Alabama Power. He was a loving father and devoted husband who loved to garden, fish and brighten people's day. He was a devoted member of Old Chapel United Methodist Church, in Wilsonville, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Mildred Harbin. He is survived by his daughter; Kathryn M. Barnard, three grandsons; Jonathan Bevan of Trussville, AL, Joshua Bevan of Tacoma, WA and Joel Bevan of Round Rock, TX and their wonderful families which include 5 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. He is currently laying in rest at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL. He will be forever missed by his daughter and grandsons.
