Saturday, Feb. 25, is your chance to enjoy some barbecue at Moe’s Original Bar B Que in Foley and help a 2-year-old win her fight again cancer.

On Jan. 24, Luke and Ashley Turner heard news no parent should have to hear. Their daughter, McKinley was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is currently at University of Alabama in Birmingham, where she underwent an extensive surgery to remove the tumor on Feb. 1. She will now undergo chemotherapy and possibly more surgeries.

All of this comes with unexpected costs, so friends and family are gathering at Moe’s on Saturday to show support for McKinley and her family and raise money.

Live music will be performed by Broken Down Car, with a raffle and silent auction items from local businesses.

The Turner Family Fundraiser will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Raffle items and silent auction items include items from Blue Girl Beading Co., Wolf Bay Lodge, Big Beach Brewing, Malouf Furniture and Design, Starfish Realty, Tacky Jacks, Badcock Furniture and many more.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or $20 for five tickets. Pick up locations are Moe’s in Foley, Fusion Spa Salon, Cox Pools, Starfish Realty, CDC First Baptist Church and Colombia Southern. You do not have to be present to collect your raffle winnings.
