Mr. Edward Gene Adams, a native of Daphne, Alabama, departed this life March 3, 2017 at a local hospital.
Born July 25, 1941 to Mr. and Mrs. William Selene and Elizabeth Bell Crawford Adams.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted son, Mr. Edward Eugene Adams; and a loving daughter, Mrs. Darlene (Dale) Smith, both of Daphne, Alabama, Ms. Minnie Regina May of Atlanta, Georgia; and stepson, Mr. Stephen Bolden; a loving a devoted granddaughter, Mrs. LaQuinta (James) Mulaki of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and six sisters, Mr. Robert Adams of Daphne, Alabama, Michael (Deborah) Adams of Mobile, Alabama, Mrs. Shirley Quaites of Daphne, Alabama, Mrs. Constance Adams Rover of Chicago, Illinois; a devoted and loving sister, Ms. Mamie Adams, of Daphne, Alabama, Mrs. Patricia (Bruce) Hall of Mobile, Alabama, Mrs. Pegan (Kenneth) Harris of Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Juana (Wande) McCorvey, of Daphne, Alabama; a loving and devoted niece, Mrs. Monique(Brian) Williams of Daphne, Alabama; and loving, devoted great-niece, Ms. Gabby Deshotel; 10 nieces; seven nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Montrose Cemetery.
