ROBERTSDALE, Alabama -- Baldwin County seniors gathered at the Baldwin County Coliseum on Wednesday, Nov. 28 for the 2018 Baldwin County Senior Lifestyle Expo.
The event, which had to be rescheduled from Oct. 10 to make the Coliseum available for storm shelter victims from Hurricane Michael, featured an added holiday theme, complete with a visit from Santa.
South Baldwin Regional Medical Center was the featured health provider for the event, which included a variety of health screenings. Free vision screenings and flu shots were also available for a small fee.
The event also featured a “Medicare Mall” providing information for Medicare’s Open Enrollment program, which ends today.
Information was also provided regarding programs available through the Area Agency on Aging and included 60 vendors, each providing games, prize giveaways and plenty of free handouts.
