Bay Minette Beautification Committee presents awards

BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The Bay Minette Beautification Committee presented four awards recognizing the outstanding efforts of three homeowners and one local business.

The Yard of the Month was presented to Elijah Hall on East First Street. Hall moved to Bay Minette from Atlanta and has spent the past few years renovating both the home and the landscape on the property. That hard work has not gone unnoticed as his yard is full of beautiful flowers, plants and shrubbery.

Coastal Bay Nutrition received the Business of the Month Award. Owners Summer and Hunter Williams were recognized for their beautiful transformation of both the exterior and interior of the facility at 2106 U.S. 31 S. The business offers loaded teas and meal replacement shakes as well as other goodies.

Two Beautification Awards were presented for the month of July.

Nita Pritchett received the Beautification Award for her beautiful yard on West Sixth Street. The lush landscape is full of beautiful flowers, plants and trees surrounding the corner lot.

John and Gail Bennett received a Beautification Award for their home on West Eighth Street. The award recognized the outstanding curb appeal for the property.
