Dolphins at Sunset Kayak Tour

4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

$65; Children (17 & Under): $50

Watch for and learn about Gulf Shores’ Bottlenose Dolphins in their natural environment from the intimate, unobtrusive, and non-threatening vantage point of a kayak. The entire three-hours of this paddle excursion are spent exploring optimal Bottlenose Dolphin habitat.

Like all wild animals these dolphins can be elusive, but there is nothing like the thrill of seeing these magnificent creatures up close when they choose to show off. Either way, you will come away with an appreciation, understanding, and newfound knowledge of dolphins as you learn about their life history, ecology, feeding behaviors, and communal nature.  Numerous bird species and natural beauty are also to be found all while enjoying one of the prettiest classrooms on earth, kayaking among the beautiful sights and sounds of our local waterways.

Explore the Bon Secour River, Bon Secour Bay, and the Intracoastal Waterway watching for and learning about a variety of wildlife including dolphins, bald eagles, osprey, herons, and pelicans. We’ll cruise past commercial fisheries and teach you about modern-day fishing methods as the fishermen unload their catch. You’ll discover the highs and lows of the fisheries and learn about the history, ecology, and characters of Coastal Alabama.

Offered as both a sunset and daytime tour, we will introduce you to the Gulf Shores you have never known but will want to learn more about. If you do nothing else this vacation, take this trip!

This is the "must do" tour for all avid lovers of nature and history when visiting Gulf Shores.  All tour commentary is provided by experienced nature guides. Perfect for children of all ages. We know kids and welcome yours aboard.
