BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Dalton Coleman received the Todd Smith Memorial Scholarship from Standard Furniture in Bay Minette. He is the son of Chris and Erica Coleman and a 2017 graduate of Baldwin County High School.

The $7,500 scholarship is named in memory of Todd Smith and the winner is selected by his family. Coleman 's scholarship application stood out because of his excellent academic background and his exemplary sportsmanship. He is already enrolled at Coastal Alabama Community College and plans to pursue a career in physical therapy. 
Dalton's mother Erica is an IT Senior Web Developer at Standard Furniture.
