Don’t rain on my parade!

On Saturday, Dec. 8, the Foley Kiwanis Club’s Annual Christmas Parade rode through the streets of Downtown Foley, overcoming the odds placed before it by the weather. Despite a slight drizzle that was steady throughout the event, the heavy rains and strong winds held off until later that afternoon, allowing the parade to roll as scheduled, and bringing many citizens out to cheer on the floats and take home some candy and toys. The parade is a holiday favorite each year, with approximately sixty plus participants and a special visit from Santa at the finale.
