Foley Lions Club is growing

The Foley Lions Club is growing. As a small part of the ever-growing Lions Club International the club is working hard to be a big part of the local community. Goals this year are to raise awareness and advocate for multiple areas of needs within the community. The Lions are well known as ambassadors for the blind and carry the motto “we serve.” Lions worldwide serve their communities’ needs such as vision, environment, childhood cancer, hunger and diabetes, but do not limit their service to just those needs. Remember: where there’s a need, there’s a Lion. Support your local Lions Club with a donation or join today!

Like the club on www.facebook.com/FoleyAlabamaLionsClub/. Regular meetings are noon on the second and fourth Tuesday monthly at Wolf Bay Lodge in Foley, and beginning June 19, the third Wednesday monthly at 6 p.m. at the Baldwin County Heritage Museum in Elberta. You do not have to live in Foley to be a Foley Lion. Hope to see you soon.
