FOLEY - Doctor Gaylon McCullough, from the McCullough Institute and Plastic Surgery Clinic, gave an interesting presentation at the Foley Woman’s Club Nov. 4 meeting. The renowned McCullough shared his views and medical expertise on “How Improving Your Appearance Can Lift Your Spirits and Improve Your Overall Health” in a powerpoint presentation. McCullough was introduced to the group by member Sylvia Womack who shared with the group that he was also famous for being on the same winning Alabama football team as her cousin, Lee Roy Jordan.

A beautiful fall table of delectables was served to the group by Barbara McCamish’s hostess committee consisting of Joan Davis, Jean Kimbrough, Romney Shick, Rachael Green and Barbara Jenkins.

After Joan Davis led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and Club Collect, routine business was conducted. The Dec. 2 Club meeting was announced for 11 a.m. at Sweet Southern Scratch. Paid reservations were to be sent to Chris Anglin no later than Nov. 24. Members are urged to bring nonperishable food items for Ecumenical Ministries to the meeting.

President Kelly Barrett announced plans for the Club’s float in the Foley Christmas Parade. Participants were to meet with chair Lora Daniels after the meeting to finalize plans. The 50/50 draw was won by Rachel Green.
