James Edwin Moore, Jr. of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly at Thomas Hospital, Fairhope, Alabama, on July 7, 2020. He was born on July 4, 1938 in Columbia, Pennsylvania to Miriam May and James Edwin Moore, Sr. Surviving are his life partner, Debra Pelkey Denithorne of Gulf Shores, previously of West Peabody, Massachusetts where the couple met in 1990; two children, Michele (Kim) Thomas of York, Pennsylvania and Paul (Penney) Moore of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and five grandsons. Mr. Moore was a graduate of Columbia High School, Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. He then served six years with the United Stares Marine Corps. Since living in Gulf Shores, he had been employed by Compass Media, Inc. as Director of Production until March, 2020.
A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, July,21, 2020 at Big Beach Brewery, hosted by Compass Media, Inc.
