Joe M. Johnson, a native of Woodland, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia, and a longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama, went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 17, 2018.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Howard Johnson; his brother, Ray Johnson; and his beloved son, John Scott Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Emalyn "Em" Johnson; his son, Jason Johnson (Gaby); grandson, Nicolas Scott Johnson; granddaughter, Delaney McNally; brother, John G. Johnson (Pat); sister, Linda Weaver; nieces and nephews and so many friends.
A special thank you to Dr. John C. McDuff, Tamera, and Thomas Hospital for their special care and concern.
A celebration of Joe's life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Visitation at 10 a.m.
Service at 11 a.m. and reception in Trinity Hall.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
