A Louisiana man was arrested after a high-speed chase Monday involving Alabama State Troopers and a motorcycle on Interstate 10 through Baldwin County before being arrested in Mobile County.

According to a release, issued Monday by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Dustin Rian Calahan, 28, of Morgan City, Louisiana, was transported back to Baldwin County where he was booked into the Bay Minette facility, charged with reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, and a variety of traffic citations.

Shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, a trooper attempted to stop a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle on westbound I-10 near the Wilcox Road exit in Baldwin County for not displaying a tag. The motorcyclist failed to yield and continued westbound on I-10 into Mobile County. He eventually stopped near U.S. 90 in Mobile County and was taken into custody without incident.

No online booking record is available for Calahan at this time.
