Prodisee Pantry supplying food for Orange Beach families

Posted

SPANISH FORT— It’s about hunger at Prodisee Pantry. Orange Beach can be quite a drive for families in the southern part of the county with transportation issues and struggling to put food on the table during the economic crisis of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Prodisee Pantryt is working with Dr. Erica McCoy and her staff to make sure that Baldwin County families in Orange Beach are not hungry during this difficult time.

Volunteers will be delivering food to Orange Beach High School on Wednesday, April 1 to be distributed at their discretion.

“We have recruited volunteers from the Orange Beach Store to assist with loading and unloading approximately 60 food units, fresh produce, breads, meats and more,” said Prodisee Pantry Executive Director Deann Servos in a release issued Tuesday, March 31. “Prodisee Pantry is prepared, and we will be here for the entire Baldwin County community.”

The most efficient way you can help fill the plates of your neighbors in need, is by giving online at prodiseepantry.org. This will help Prodisee Pantry restock and continue food distributions.

“Because... it’s about hunger at Prodisee Pantry.”
