ROSINTON, Alabama — Singer, songwriter and ventriloquist Brent Vernon, along with his sidekick Sam, will bring his music ministry to both worship services at Rosinton United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 21. Services are at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Vernon, of South Florida, believes that God can use anyone – even the most unlikely among us – to do great things for Him.

As a shy kid who struggled to articulate himself, Vernon did not envision himself playing concerts and leading worship as he does today. But for the past 18 years, his concert ministry has inspired many.

He feels blessed to play about 150 concerts a year. Small country churches, inner city ministries, contemporary suburban churches, elementary school assemblies, college chapels, coffee houses ... Vernon welcomes every opportunity to share. His lyrics are biblically based, encouraging and uplifting. The music spans a range of styles.

The performance is free and everyone is welcome. A love offering will be received for Vernon's ministry and his CDs will be available for sale.
