FOLEY, Alabama — Two juveniles and one adult have been arrested and Baldwin County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking a third juvenile in connection with a robbery and possible kidnapping Feb. 11 at a community swimming pool on Adams Circle in Foley.

After being called to the scene, deputies found one man tied to a post inside the pool area and were told there was a second victim who was allegedly forced into the trunk of the other victim’s vehicle and taken from the scene.

According to a release issued Thursday by the BCSO investigations command, during the investigation it was determined that the two male victims called a female juvenile and made arrangements to pick her up from her residence. The males were under the impression the female was bringing a friend.

After picking up the female juvenile, the three went to the community pool on Adams Circle. While at the pool three African American males arrived armed with long guns, forcing the two victims on the ground.

One victim was tied to a post inside the pool area the second victim was bound and placed into the trunk of the other victim’s vehicle. The female and all three suspects then drove off with the victim in the trunk.

Upon freeing the first victim from the pool, deputies began searching for the stolen vehicle and the second victim. They eventually found the vehicle in an area of Adams Circle and upon their approach observed the second victim exit the trunk.

As the investigation continued the female juvenile was found at her residence and though interrogation admitted her part in the incident. She was subsequently arrested for robbery first degree. The three African American males were later identified and two have been arrested and charged for robbery first degree as well. The third subject is still at large.

Among those arrested was Tydarrius Malik Mason, 19, of Foley, charged with robbery, first degree. Mason was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Facility on Wednesday and is being held on a $25,000 bond. All others arrested were juveniles.

Other charges are pending a Grand Jury review at this time.
