In honor of Women's Equality Day, AgriTech Corp., a business specializing in a lab-based, digital soil testing kit called SoilKit®, is proud to announce their national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) - South. WBENC - South is a regional certifying partner of the WBENC.

AgriTech Corp. created SoilKit® to connect users to the science of soil health, which is the cornerstone of a healthy lawn or garden. SoilKit® is an easy-to-use, lab-based, digital soil testing platform that uses science to recommend to the user specific products and their quantities to purchase for a healthier, greener lawn or garden. The user simply takes a soil sample and sends it to AgriTech Corp.’s professional agriculture lab. Then, easy-to-understand treatment recommendations in the form of expert lab reports are sent back to the user through SoilKit®’s digital platform. This saves the user money and brings them a step closer to a beautiful lawn or fruitful garden.

"It is an honor to be certified by the WBENC as they are widely recognized and respected for being a leading advocate for women entrepreneurs,” said Christina Woerner McInnis, CEO and founder of AgriTech Corp. “For decades, they have helped women-owned businesses like mine thrive. We’re excited to grow the SoilKit® brand even more with the help of their resources and vast network of support.”

The WBENC standard of certification implemented by the WBENC - South is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.

About AgriTech Corp.:

AgriTech Corp. is an agricultural data processing and technology software company based in Foley, Alabama.
