Elberta crowns Homecoming queen, king

ELBERTA — Demmie Peck was crowned Homecoming Queen and Nate Steiner was crowned Homecoming King during festivities on Friday, Oct. 8 at John T. Cobb Stadium on the campus of Elberta High School.

Members of the Homecoming Court were seniors McKenzie English, Saige Heaton, Kayden Lightkep, Camryn Martin, Nathan Clark, Peter Gauntt, Riley McFarlin and Brady Motes; juniors Morgan Fowler, Lexi Hanrahan and Blakeli Hood; sophomores Matalyne Korll and Diamond Murphy; and freshmen Abigail Palm, Rylie-Ann Pugh, Risa Redditt and Bella Welden.

On the field, the Warriors collected their first home win of the season Friday night, topping 5A Region 1 opponent LeFlore 31-12.
