ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Zeta.
Currently, Baldwin County is under a tropical storm warning, storm surge warning, high surf warning and rip current warning.
A storm surge warning means that life-threatening inundation from rising water moving inland from the coastline is possible in our area in the next 36 hours. A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm-force winds are possible within our area in the next 36 hours. Tropical winds range between 39 to 57 miles per hour.
At this time, the Baldwin County Emergency Operations Center is activated and operating with essential staff.
