Bay Watch Boat Ramp parking area temporarily closes for repairs on May 10

FAIRHOPE -- The Bay Watch Boat Ramp will close for repairs at 5 p.m. Monday, May 10, officials with the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Marine Resources Division announced.

Repairs to the ramp, located at 11470 U.S. 98 in Fairhope, are expected to take about four days to complete depending on weather conditions.

Renovations to the Bay Watch parking area include scraping the area and applying new gravel.

The fishing pier will remain open while the improvements are made. Anglers are asked to park outside of the marked construction area. Updates will be provided on the MRD Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AlabamaMarineResourcesDivision.
