Chamber hosts holiday Business After Hours

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Holiday Business After Hours on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at First Baldwin Land Title in Robertsdale.

The event included food, catered by Café Acadiana, refreshments, door prizes and networking. Donations of unwrapped toys for young children were accepted for Kanes Warrior Kids for children at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile. Derek "Kane" Long and Michelle Long, who operate the program, attended the event to accept donations.

Tickets are currently on sale for the Chamber’s 46th Annual Meeting, Silent Auction and Business Awards to be held Thursday, Jan. 21 at the Baldwin County Coliseum, 19477 Fairground Road, Robertsdale.

With its 40,000-square-foot expo hall, the Baldwin County Coliseum will allow ample room for social distancing guidelines to be met during the meeting. Tickets will be limited to ensure proper health and safety guidelines are followed. Members are asked to wear a face-covering unless seated at your table and practice social distancing during the meeting.

Social hour begins at 5 p.m., followed by dinner, catered by L.A. Barbeque, at 6:30 and a program beginning at 7 p.m. Awards will be handed out for the 2020 Small Business of the Year, 2020 Emerging Small Business of the Year and the 2020 Fell, Gilbert, Mack, Pearson – Founders Awards. Each municipality will also present Business of the Year awards.
