Edith Marie Ware, age 98, a former resident of Montgomery and Gulf Shores, and a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020. She was a member of Orange Beach United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Meek Ware and daughter, Gwendolyn Shenk. She is survived by her granddaughters, Teri Amanda Shenk and Teresa Shenk Hayes; nephew, Tyrus E. Cobb and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Central Cemetery in Emelle, AL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
