On April 17, approximately 11 p.m., the Foley Police Department responded to the Alison Pointe Apartment complex on County Road 20 West in Foley for reports of an armed robbery in progress. As units were responding, an eyewitness provided information that the assailants were leaving the scene and provided a vehicle description. Patrol officers observed the suspected vehicle leaving the area and were able to stop the vehicle with the assistance of the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office and Gulf Shores Police Department.

Investigation revealed that Anthony Duane Kendrick (22 years of age of Foley), Justis Rea Kendrick (19 years of age of Foley), and Skyler T. Baldwin (19 years of age of Foley) forced their way into an apartment and, while armed with handguns, demanded cash and valuables from the three tenants while Eathan G.H. Saunders (20 years of age of Foley) acted as a lookout. During the robbery, Anthony and Justis Kendrick assaulted one of the tenants causing injuries requiring medical attention.

As a result of the vehicle stop and subsequent investigation, four handguns were recovered along with all reported stolen property. Anthony and Justis Kendrick were arrested and were each charged with three counts of Robbery in the 1st Degree and one count each of Assault in the 2nd Degree.
