Frank Porter, Sr. Jesus follower, devoted husband, dedicated father, and all around good guy has finished his race here on earth and is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Frank was born December 15, 1946 in Columbia, SC to C. C. and Ruby Porter. He finished his race on August 23, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Reba Brown Porter, sons Frank (Emily) Porter and Randy (Tomekia) Porter, and 4 grandsons, Caden (14), Grayson (12), Bishop (10), Luke (4), and sister, Pat (Bobby) McCullough, and a niece and 2 nephews. Frank is an Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He retired as a service technician in the banking equipment industry. He enjoyed retirement by taking trips with his wife and friends, attending concerts and festivals, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, and enjoying his grandsons. He was a faithful attender of First Baptist Church Gulf Shores. A celebration of his life and faith will be held Wednesday, August 26 at 2:00 in the afternoon at First Baptist Church Gulf Shores. All are invited to attend. Frank was a classy casual dresser and would love nothing more than you doing the same to join us in celebrating his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church Gulf Shores.
