Harold Crenshaw “Pokey” Miller Jr.

Harold Crenshaw "Pokey" Miller Jr., age 77, native of Coco Beach, Florida and a longtime resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed this life on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020.

He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Daphne. Harold began his employment with Merrill Lynch in 1970, where he received numerous awards, became a member of the Executive Club in 1973, the Chairman's Club 1980 and was a member of the Director's Circle for many years.

Harold was an avid golfer and member of Lakewood Country Club, Mobile Country Club and Steelwood Country Club.

He was preceded in death by son, David Miller; and sister, Shannon Miller-Lord.

Harold is survived by his wife, Peggy Miller of Daphne, Alabama; daughters, Marian Miller (Matt) Repsher of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Jeanie Miller (Steve) Horowitz of Point Clear, Alabama; son, Shaw Miller of Southport, Florida; brothers, Bebo Miller of Robbinsville, North Carolina and Bones Miller of Mobile, AL; sister, Katie Miller Farnell of Fairhope, AL; grandchildren, Crenshaw Dean Miller and Crawford Elizabeth Miller, both of Daphne, Alabama; along with other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Montrose Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service.
