Louis Thomas Vick, age 78, a native of Fayette, AL and a longtime resident of Summerdale, AL, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020. Mr. Vick sold farm equipment for many years in Baldwin County, along with farming. Louis loved his grandkids and great grandkids passionately. He spent much of his past time enjoying his houseboat and socializing, because he was a "people person". Louis was preceded in death by his father, Hester Thomas Vick, Sr.; mother, Lizzle Vick; sisters, Peggy Downing Mason, Carolyn Booker, Sarah Gibson, Ida Lucille Fields Hartin; and bother, Lloyd Vick. He is survived by his wife, Ann Vick of Silverhill; son, Raymond (Jenny) Vick of Fairhope; two daughters, Treasa (Derrick) Johnson of Robertsdale and Becky Lassitter of Robertsdale; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two sisters, Dottie Gabriel of Foley and Gracie Davis of Robertsdale; five brothers, Henry Vick of Robertsdale, Mack Vick of Summerdale, Hester Vick, Jr. of Robertsdale, Ray Vick of Robertsdale, Edward Vick of Summerdale; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley Chapel, Tuesday, August 11, 2020, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held from The Vine Ministries (Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church), Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.
