The “Know Your Author” scavenger hunts at the Foley Public Library have been fun and exciting so the library is doing it again in May. Beginning May 1, the Foley Public Library will host a scavenger hunt where patrons will have the opportunity to look for five different books within the library by answering a question about the author of each book. Only one book may be found by any one patron during the month.

Simply go to the Foley Public Library during regular business hours and request a question about one of the five authors featured. Once you receive the question, you will have to answer it to get the clue to the location of a book placeholder. Find the book placeholder and bring it to the Circulation Desk to receive the actual book.

Should you find you cannot answer the question and therefore, cannot find the book, please return the question to the Circulation Desk so another patron can have a try.

Authors featured during May will be Joanne Fluke, Craig Johnson, Rachel Hawkins, Paulette Jiles and Nancy West. Books to be hidden will generally be the latest publication by each author. Three of these titles are large print copies.
