Nellie Eunice Raley Draper, age 92, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021. Mrs. Draper devoted her life to being a good wife and mother. She loved all children and they loved her. She was a member of Fairhope First Baptist Church and loved her Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Buddy” Draper; parents, Jimpsey David Raley, Sr. and Nellie Larsen Raley; son, Robert Draper; daughters, Bessie Draper Hardy and Susan Draper Echols Butler; son-in-law, Henry Smith; brothers, J. D. Raley, Jr., Narcise Raley, Leon Raley and Bill Raley; sisters, Margaret Cecile Raley, Lois Raley Pope Estelle and Mary Ada Raley Hutchinson. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Draper Hagler (Dickey) of Saltillo, MS, Marilyn Draper Sullivan (Mike) of Daphne and Linda Draper Smith of San Antonio, TX; son, Steven Draper of Birmingham; sister-in-law, Doris Thornton Raley; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Draper’s family would like to thank Springhill Hospice for the loving care and support given to Mrs. Draper during her long illness. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 18, 2021, at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Fairhope.
