ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Robertsdale High School will celebrate Homecoming with a week full of activities beginning Monday, Sept. 13.

“Casino Nights” is the theme for this year’s Homecoming and students will celebrate with daily dress-up days. All costumes must adhere to the BCBE dress code.

The week kicks off with “Meme Monday,” followed by “Tacky Tourist” Tuesday and “Rich and Famous” Wednesday.

Thursday’s theme will be “007 Spy” with the annual Homecoming Parade set to roll Thursday afternoon from Robertsdale High School to J.D. Sellars Stadium.

Floats will line up at 3:15 and the parade is set for 4 p.m. This year’s parade route will not follow Alabama 59 as in past years. Sellars Stadium near the entrance to the Culinary Academy.

Best class float will be awarded based on creativity, school spirit, quality of construction and enthusiasm.

The queen will be crowned during pre-game festivities as the Golden Bears take on 6A Region 1 foe, the Gulf Shores Dolphins, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. at J.D. Sellars Stadium on the campus of Robertsdale Elementary School.

There will not be a Homecoming Dance on Saturday, Sept. 18. A dance will be scheduled at a later date.

Lunchtime activities will be scheduled the entire week.
