Ruby F. Jordan Ojeda passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Marengo County and was a resident of Summerdale.
Mrs. Ojeda worked for the U.S Government in several capacities over 33 years, spending her retirement years traveling, gardening and loving her family. She was a sweet-spirited Southern lady who loved her Lord and Savior, Alabama Football and enjoying the sunsets from her home on Fish River.
Ruby was predeceased by her husband Ruben V. Ojeda, two brothers Morris and Donald Jordan. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Ojeda (Bruce) Martin of Summerdale; a son Ruben V. Ojeda Jr. of Dauphin Island; sister Velma Annette (L.J.) Britain of Mobile; brother Henry (Gladys) Jordan of Kimbrough, AL; seven grandchildren, Jacob Ojeda, Luke Ojeda, Jordan Klepin, Zach Martin, Nikki Bostwick, Andrew Martin, Sarah Grace Martin; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Daphne chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Jubilee Memorial Gardens in Daphne.
