Southeast Beach Express, a scheduled air service connecting Baldwin County with Atlanta, Nashville and Baton Rouge, begins flights June 3. Flights will be operated daily Thursday through Sunday on 30-seat executive jets.

Southeast Beach Express features all the amenities of private air, including executive terminal departures and arrivals, hassle-free security screening, 15-minute pre-boarding show-times and no-cost luggage.           Flights to Atlanta, Nashville and Baton Rouge will depart from Gulf Air Center at Jack Edwards National Airport in Gulf Shores, with competitive, round-trip fares inclusive of all taxes and fees. Flight time to each destination is around one hour.

“We developed Southeast Beach Express to meet the demand for quicker and more convenient access to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, as well as Fairhope and Foley,” says Jay Taffet, founder of Southeast Beach Express. “The air service naturally works in reverse, giving Baldwin County direct, scheduled flights to Atlanta, Nashville and Baton Rouge without the commute to Pensacola or Mobile for airline connections. And with daily flights Thursday through Sunday, our service schedule is optimized for both business and leisure travel to all our destinations.”

Southeast Beach Express is operated by Ultimate Jetcharters, an industry-ranked, Federal Aviation Administration-approved public charter operator that has been operating its own direct, scheduled routes for over a decade.

Ultimate Jetcharters has won the highest safety accreditations in the industry and operates all its flights with two pilots and a cabin attendant. Ultimate’s flights are listed online through third-party booking sites, just like the airlines, and their passenger security program complies with TSA regulations.

“Visitors from Atlanta, Nashville and Baton Rouge, as well as business and leisure travelers from Baldwin County to our destinations, will experience all the public charter amenities we offer that will make their travel stress-free,” says John Gordon, Founder and President of Ultimate Jetcharters. “Those amenities include fast hassle-free booking, up-close free parking, no baggage fees and, best of all, arriving 15 minutes before boarding. They will be talking about their flight experience more than the visit itself.”

Alabama’s Gulf Coast is one of America’s premier vacation destinations and Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism has partnered with Southeast Beach Express toward optimizing visitor travel to its beaches.

“Our area has long been a favorite destination for people from surrounding drive markets,” says Herb Malone, President and CEO of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism. “During peak summer season that often means traffic backups and delays along the interstate routes to the beach. Southeast Beach Express flights servicing three key markets – Atlanta, Nashville and Baton Rouge – is a great way to attract visitors wanting a quicker way to Alabama’s beaches.”

Ticket sales begin today at beach-express.com, with the first scheduled flights projected for June 3. According to ultimateairshuttle.com a round trip ticket to/from Baton Rouge will cost an estimated $490, roundtrip to Atlanta $590 and Nashville $690.
