Swiger & Company, Realtors is excited to announce the addition of Kristen Swiger to the residential and commercial real estate agency.

Kristen is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and interned with LSU Tiger TV, WWL TV-New Orleans and WBRZ-Baton Rouge.

After working for Blanchard Walker law firm in Shreveport, LA., as a media relations and business development specialist, she earned a coveted position as a morning-drive radio host on Bluewater Broadcasting’s 98.9 Bama Country WBAM from 6a-9a each weekday morning. The show was re-branded “Bubba and Kristy in the Morning” and developed a massive following, eventually topping powerhouse duo “Rick and Bubba” in key market demographics. Kristen simultaneously served as the company’s Promotions Director, making appearances at station events for all eight stations to ensure promotions ran smoothly. Given her extensive marketing background and education in the field, Kristen brings a wealth of experience to Swiger & Company, Realtors.

Her natural gift of conversation, strong organizational skills and pleasant never-met-a-stranger personality make her a perfect fit for Swiger and Company, Realtors, a family-owned and operated business based in Gulf Shores. “We couldn’t be more excited about Kristen joining Swiger & Company,” said agent and co-founder David Swiger. “Not only does she possess a tremendous amount of marketing expertise, but she is also part of the family, something we love and are very proud of.” Broker and co-founder Angie Swiger added, “She would be successful in any career option she chose. A Gulf Shores High School graduate, Kristen grew up in Gulf Shores. “I’m home, and I’m ready to get to work helping others find the home of their dreams!” She will be specializing in residential sales.
