Foley Family,

Life is a journey, and, as we travel along this path, we experience different seasons of life. Five years ago, our family entered into a new season when we were presented the opportunity to come to Foley. As with any life changing decision that Paige and I have ever made, the first questions we seek to answer are, “Is this where God wants us to be? Is this part of His plan for us?” Much prayer and consideration were given when making our decision to move our family to Foley. Every new opportunity that we have ever been presented has been a family decision. As a family, we believed and still believe we made the right decision to move to Foley. Everything pointed us in this direction, and we had a complete peace about it. Since that time, both of our children have graduated from Foley. Our student body and faculty/staff welcomed them with open arms They will always be proud alumni. Riley, in fact, has graduated from college and is beginning a new season in his own personal journey.

With all that being said, our family has now been presented a new opportunity. It has been our experience that every new opportunity for our family has always come when we have least expected it. As we did when we considered our move to Foley, much prayer and consideration have been given to seek God’s guidance and confirmation. Paige and I feel that we are now being led in transitioning to a “new season” in our walk, and the time has come for us to move on. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have always felt welcomed and are thankful for all of you who accepted us into the Foley community.

I will always be grateful to (Foley High School Principal Russ Moore) for giving us this opportunity and trusting me in leading our athletic program. His leadership, support, and friendship have and will always be greatly appreciated by our family. Also, to our assistant principals, office staff, faculty, and maintenance, thank you for your help and supporting our entire student body.

Thank you to our coaching staff and families for their loyalty, tireless work, and belief in our vision for the program. I will always value our relationship. Thank you to the parents for trusting our staff to lead and work with your children. Our student athletes have always been our number one priority in everything that we have worked to accomplish.

We could not have provided for our players without the unconditional support of the Pride Touchdown Club. They have always been there when needed. I will always be thankful for our friendship.

Finally, I am extremely grateful to our student athletes that we have had the opportunity to coach. While the results on the field were not always what we hoped for, it certainly didn’t take away from the commitment, effort, and work ethic that our players invested in. Thank you for allowing me to be your coach. We have always strived to run our program the right way, and it is my hope and desire that you have learned something from being in our program: to influence you in making Godly decisions to be a responsible citizen, faithful husband, and loving father. Each of you always have a special place in my heart.

In closing, I would again like to sincerely thank all who have supported our program these last five years, The Niblett family will always be grateful for this “season” in our lives. Take care and my God bless each of you!
