Robertsdale AmVets Post 316 to host Toys for Tots Toy Ride July 31

Members of the Robertsdale AmVets Post 316 – the newest post in Alabama – will host the 1st Annual “Christmas in July Toys for Tots Toy Ride” on Saturday, July 31. Kick stands go up at 10 a.m. and riders return by 4 p.m. All vehicles are welcome.

The event is sponsored by Doc Holliday’s Saloon, 203 N. Cypress St., Foley, which is where the ride will start.

Registrations are being taken at Doc’s Holliday’s Saloon from July 17 to 30. Cost is $20 or toy of equal value per bike and rider and $10 or toy of equal value for additional person.

Registrations will also be accepted the day of the ride at 9 a.m. until the ride starts. Cost will be $25 or toy of equal value per bike and rider and $15 or toy of equal value for additional rider. Toys for Tots will also be accepting toys or cash donations.

Ride stops include the American Legion Post 99, Good Time Charlies, The Stock Tank, The Office, and Scuttlebutts. A Poker Hand will be drawn at Doc Holliday’s following the ride. An extra card costs $5.

As part of the ride, raffles will be held with 50/50 raffle tickets available all this month at Doc Holliday’s – 1 for $5 and 6 for $20.

Food prepared by Steamboat Catering will also be featured with pulled pork sandwiches, loaded Conecuh dogs, and pork tacos available at Doc Holliday’s from 11 am. to 5 p.m.
