The 16th Annual Pleasure Island Poetry Contest is an opportunity for students in grades kindergarten to 12 to submit original works. Winners are chosen based on theme development, creative use of language and appeal to senses. Prizes are awarded based on individual merit and grade level.
The contest is sponsored by the Orange Beach Public Library, Friends of the Orange Beach Public Library, Thomas B. Norton Public Library and Friends of the Thomas B. Norton Public Library.
