Glenn Douglas “Doug” Roberts, a resident of Daphne passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
Doug worked with Edward Jones Investments in Saraland. He served as a member of the Chickasaw Chamber of Commerce where he was president in 2007. He was also committed to serving his community with the Lions Club and The Cleveland House.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Frances Roberts of Chickasaw and a stepson, Justin Sanders.
Doug is survived by his wife, Cindy W. Roberts of Daphne; daughter, Candace (Chas) Broughton of Fairhope; sons, Justin Roberts of Trussville and Jacob (Teresa) Roberts of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alex Penry, Sarah Grace Penry, Maddie Broughton, Grier Broughton, Parker Roberts, Avery Roberts, Jaxton Roberts and Maya Roberts; and great-grandson, Grayson Henry; sister, Emily Winn (Greg), niece Megan and nephew Michael.
The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, at the Daphne chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes with a celebration of Doug’s life followed.
