DAPHNE, Ala. - The Baldwin County High School Junior Varsity Girls basketball team won the 2020 Baldwin County Tournament at Daphne. The No. 3 seed Lady Tigers defeated tournament host No. 4 Daphne 25-20 in the first round. The Lady Tigers defeated No. 2 Fairhope 32-16 in the semifinals to advance to the 2020 championship. The Lady Tigers then defeated No. 5 Gulf Shores 29-26 to win the county title. Freshmen Tre'Kerria Smith, Jayla Pogue, and Sophomore Jameila Greene were named to the 2020 all-tournament team.
2019-20 champion roster included: Breanna Williams, Jayla Pogue, Dakylia Atchison, Ericka Hall, Arianna Daniels, Jalaysia Scott, Zendra Griffin, Malaysia Andrews, Destiny Brown, Tre’Kerria Smith, Shaniya Whittle, Tanadia Robinson, Jamelia Greene, Olivia Stanley, Chaniya Lyles and managers: Shamyia Whittle and Ameria Brooks.
