ROBERTSDALE, Ala. -- Boys and girls got the opportunity to learn from a professional basketball player this past week at the PRIDE Basketball Academy in the gym at Robertsdale Elementary School.
Hosted by Coach James Miller and featuring former RHS Golden Bear and professional basketball player Obie Trotter, the camp, about 25 campers ranging in age from 5 to 16 were in attendance at the camp on Monday and more were expected as the week progressed.
“I have been blessed to play this game (professionally) for the last 11 years,” said Trotter, “and it is nice to be able to give back to the community.”
