Escambia County 76, Fairhope 64

FAIRHOPE, Ala.— Escambia County 76, Fairhope 64: Tevin Brown surpassed the 2,000-point mark with his 39 points against the ECHS Blue Devils Tuesday night. The Murray State bound senior is the first Pirates to eclipse the 2K-career plateau.

Daphne 65, Saraland 44: Deontaye Buskey led the Trojans with 17 points as No. 3-ranked Class 6A Daphne improved to 26-2 overall. The Trojans play at Theodore tonight. On Monday, DHS defeated Gulf Shores 74-53. Dre Graves led Daphne with 15. Judah Wilson led the Dolphins with 11. Daphne will host the 6A Area 2 Boys tournament now set for Feb. 7, 9 and 11.

Gulf Shores 55, Foley 49: Judah Wilson scored 14 points and Ryan Fulmer added 12to lead the Dolphins’ scoring. Chris Armstrong had a game-high 20 points for the Lions.

Spanish Fort 65, Baldwin County 55: Terrin Atkinson and Michael Meador scored 12 points each while Kris Draine added 10 to lead the No. 7 ranked Toros to a Class 6A Area 2 win as SFHS improved to 19-7 overall. Baldwin County’s Tyler Lamar led the Tigers and all scorers with 21.

Bayside 46, Clarke County 45 (OT)

Sam Koby led the Admirals with a game high 27 in the Class 3A, Area 3 overtime win. C. Darrington led CCHS with 18 points.

GIRLS

Daphne 44, Saraland 26

• Trojans win 20th consecutive contest to improve to 22-4 overall

Krysta Wright led No. 10 Daphne with 15 points, Tia Pickett added 14 and Makenna Pierce finished with 10 in the Tuesday night home win. On Monday, the Trojans defeated Gulf Shores 70-43 in Class 6A, Area 2 league play. Pickett led the DHS scoring with 17 points and nine rebounds, Jennifer Darby added 13 points, Maura Miles and Wright had 10 points each.
