Pre-K Program Application
Alabama’s nationally recognized First Class Pre-K is now accepting applications for the 2018 – 19 school year. Enrollment is open to all children four years of age who reside in one of these school attendance zones:
Bay Minette Elementary, Daphne Elementary, Elberta Elementary, Elsanor Elementary, Foley Elementary, Gulf Shores Elementary, J Larry Newton School, Loxley Elementary, Orange Beach Elementary, Pine Grove Elementary, Robertsdale Elementary, Rosinton Elementary, Summerdale School and Swift Elementary.
Applications are accepted Feb. 5 through March 2. All applicants must provide two proofs of residence and a certified birth certificate at the time of application. When you submit your application you will also schedule the appointment for your child’s screening.
Title I Pre-K Program
The following schools will accept applications for the Title I Pre-K Program. Only students who live within the attendance zones of these schools may apply for the Title I program. Students must accompany their parents to the school in order on the following dates to complete a screening assessment to determine eligibility:
Wednesday, Feb. 21: Delta Elementary, Perdido School, Silverhill Elementary.
Thursday, Feb. 22: Magnolia School, Stapleton Elementary
Parents must bring a certified birth certificate and two proofs of residence to the school. Proof of residence documents include power bill, current satellite cable tv bill, garbage bill or deed or rental agreement.
