BAY MINETTE — In July 2020, the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce received a generous donation on behalf of Baldwin Gulf Coast Pest Control in the form of a “chamber truck.”
If you’ve driven by the chamber in the past couple of months, you’ve probably noticed the new ride in the parking lot. The North Baldwin Chamber is very grateful to Shane Hadley and the staff at Baldwin Gulf Coast Pest Control for providing the chamber with a new-to-us vehicle for use at events, for expanding outreach within the North Baldwin area, for hauling supplies, chamber promotion and more.
While retiring one of the company trucks, Shane Hadley made the decision to donate the truck to the chamber instead. Hadley and staff had the truck wrapped with custom North Baldwin Chamber, Local Like Me and Discover North Baldwin graphics, had the truck serviced and even purchased a new set of tires before presenting it to the chamber staff and board.
Executive Director with the North Baldwin Chamber, Ashley Jones Davis, said “The North Baldwin Chamber belongs to our business members and the community, and it is through partnership and collaboration that your Chamber thrives. We are very grateful for the continued support of all of our members and the generosity of Baldwin Gulf Coast Pest Control. Their donation will allow your Chamber to better serve you and has given us a tool that will allow for more efficiency in the execution of events and programs. We cannot say thank you enough.”
In partnership, sponsorship, volunteering, serving on boards and committees, collaboration, brainstorming, hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, tears and friendship, Shane and his staff at Baldwin Gulf Coast Pest Control have always gone above and beyond in any way possible in support of your North Baldwin Chamber and our community. This truck is a prime example of Shane and staff's love and support and we could not be more grateful and excited to use this truck as a tool to serve our membership and the North Baldwin community even better than before.
