Our mother, Bertha Lee Hobbs Enfinger, passed from this life and into the arms of Jesus on the evening of June 8, 2023. Mom was a sweet and tender soul who always gave far more than she received. She was born in Summerdale on Jan. 18, 1939, and spent the majority of her life there. Mom is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy, and infant son and daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Enfinger Hesse of Summerdale; two sons, Tim Enfinger of Wetumpka and Kent (Theresa) Enfinger of Foley; three grandchildren, Tiffany (Jerry) Epperson of Foley, Grant Hesse of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Hannah Hesse of Summerdale; great-granddaughter, Lauren Morse of Foley; and one brother, Lynn Hobbs of Fairhope; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially thank Gloria Keith for loving and caring for Mom during the last four months as well as Tiffiny Cooper with Coastal Home Health. Mom's memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 12, at the Summerdale Church of Christ, and the family received friends one hour prior. Interment followed at Pine Rest Memorial.
