Betty L. Baratta, 95, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, in Foley, Alabama. She was born October 20, 1927, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Vernon and Nellie Bennett.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Baratta of Lillian, Alabama, her brothers Ralph, Gilbert, Leonard and Max Bennett of Nelsonville, Ohio and her sister June Boltz of Bradenton, Florida. She is survived by her son Mark (Elizabeth Collier) Baratta of Lynnwood, Washington and daughter Karen Baratta of Foley, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
Private cremation internment rites will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida at a later date.
