On July 15, Historic Blakeley State Park will host the Auburn University Raptor Center for two special educational programs showcasing its resident raptor ambassadors.
These include owls, falcons, hawks, kites, vultures and eagles. This is the first time this program has been offered at the park.
These demonstrations allow children and adults to experience and learn about a collection of Alabama's native species of raptors through a conversation-based presentation. Two special programs will be offered in the park's Wehle Center: 10:30-11:25 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-12:25 p.m. Admission is $5 per guest for all ages.
Come for an unparalleled opportunity to learn about these amazing animals and the important role they play in our natural environment.
Book your tickets online by visiting blakeleypark.com/events and choosing which of the scheduled programs you would like to attend.
