Byron Patton Rhodes, age 84, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Nov. 12, 2023.
Byron was a member of Foley United Methodist Church and an avid Alabama football fan. He was devoted to his family who he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ethel Rhodes, and his granddaughter, Samara Rhodes. Byron is survived by his wife of 58 years, True Rhodes; children, Byron (Simone) Rhodes Jr. of Foley, Jimmy Rhodes of Foley, and Paulette (Michael) Reeves of Foley; grandchildren, Larissa Rhodes of Foley, Kyle Rhodes of Utah, Macy Hawkins of Georgia, Payton Reeves of Foley, and Nicolas Reeves of Foley; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A graveside service was held at Pine Rest Cemetery in Foley, Alabama, on Wed. Nov. 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
